IT Carlow student Conor Walsh says they are going to be severely decimated next season in the defence of their Colleges Perpetual Cup.
Last week IT Carlow won the competition with a 4-1 trouncing of IT Sligo and speaking to KCLR on Saturday Scoreline, Conor says that half of their starting team with be finishing up with the IT during the Summer.
He said “There is five of the fourth year lads now. The five main starters in our Team including Liam McCartan, Shane Barnes and Sean Hurley, the five of them are in their fourth year so they are leaving so their is big boots to fill there obviously, but hopefully Tom and Luke – Coaches – will go on a bit of a recruitment phase”.
