James Stephens are through to another county semi-final after defeating Graigue Ballycallan in the quarter-finals of the senior hurling championship
“A good performance I’d say, it wasn’t the perfect performance there’s still a lot to improve on before the semi-final, we’re there now and we’re thankful and happy to get over the line”
“We didn’t mind really whether we won clean or ugly as long as we got the win today as Brian [Cody] had said, it only matters when the final whistle blows and we were on top today”
“Cian has a hand injury at the minute, obviously working with the Doctors, Physio’s and specialists to see what we can do there in the next two weeks to see if he can be back, were hopeful he can be back, he’s a vital cog in our wheel going forward, he’s a brilliant player, an intercounty hurler so we’d be hopeful Cian can get back”
“Into another semi-final, its brilliant stuff and this is where we want to be at this time of year, you cant beat it, we’ll stick around to watch the game between Dicksboro and Ballyhale, whoever we get in the semi-final whether its these two teams or Bennettsbridge its going to be right down to the wire but looking forward to it”
