Carlow Camogie manager Mark Brennan says it will be a huge battle just to compete with Meath in Sunday’s Leinster Intermediate Final in Aughrim.
Speaking to KCLR, Mark has great admiration for the work going on in Meath….
“They are a very strong Camogie County. They are putting in huge effort and I admire the work that they are doing”
“I remember watching them in the same competition, same final last year against Kilkenny and I thought they were an excellent team and I suppose I was watching and thinking Wooah what do we got to do to get up to their level”.
“So it’s great that we are there and delighted to be in a final against them but they are really hardened experience team and Division One side so we are under no illusions it’s going to be a huge battle to compete with them on Sunday”
