The Cats exhibited their offensive prowess with five well-executed goals, courtesy of Billy Ryan, Liam Blanchfield, Eoin Guilfoyle, Ted Dunne, and Denis Walsh.

The match, sponsored by Laharts, promises to be a thrilling spectacle, and KCLR will be your gateway to the action, with the throw-in set for 2 pm this Saturday.

In a pre-match interview with KCLR, new Wexford manager Keith Rossiter expressed his anticipation for the challenge, acknowledging the strength of the Kilkenny side. Rossiter stated, “Yeah, delighted to get another game, another competitive game before we get into the league, and then we have Kilkenny in the 4th of February in the league up in Nowlan Park.”

He continued,”No matter what 15 come out from Kilkenny, you learn your ball up there. It’s never an easy game, no matter who Kilkenny have. I know there are a lot of players that were caught up with the club championship, but no matter what 15 come out from Kilkenny, you learn your ball up there.”

As the hurling fans gear up for this exciting clash, all eyes will be on the field as Kilkenny and Wexford battle for supremacy in the Walsh Cup Semi-Final. Tune in, stay connected, and hearthe drama unfold on KCLR this Saturday at 2 pm.
