Having started their 2016 season with a bang, Tullow stuttered a little towards the end of their Division 1B campaign and ultimately missed out on a playoff spot to Clondalkin, behind runaway winners Wicklow.
Wrapping things up with 9 wins from 14 to finish clear in third place, Tullow can look forward to mixing it up with Kilkenny for two local derbies this season. They’ve gone from strength-to-strength in recent seasons and capped off 2016/17 by securing the Provincial Towns Cup for the first time in the club’s history.
