James Stephens Senior Selector Seamus Dwyer says that today’s (Sunday) County Senior decider against Ballyhale Shamrocks could be dominated by defences.
Speaking to KCLR, Seamus says despite both defences been solid, it will be a hard task to keep the Shamrocks attacking Division quiet.
He said “I think both teams are strong defensively. If you look at the Shamrocks back six, there is a lot of Inter-County Hurlers amongst that, and they don’t exactly concede too many big scores themselves, so like the weather conditions obviously usually if they are bad, they do lead to low scoring games, but that Shamrocks forward line is very potent so to keep them down will be a job”.
