James Stephens selector Niall Connolly says having Eoin Larkin and Jackie Tyrrell available all year long has been a huge plus and influence on the younger players.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Friday evening’s game against Clara, Niall says that the younger players look up to their leadership…..
“Ah it is, I mean the influence of the two boys has been huge for a lot of younger players that we have and their presence around the place particularly in all the games we play in the O’Byrne Cup has been huge, and their presence on the training field in training sessions has been hugely important”
They are using the experience that they have, they are encouraging all the younger players in the club and their presence around has been a huge benefit to us this year”
