The annual JJ Reddy Danesfort Half Marathon, 10K run & 5K fun run takes place on Sunday 18th of September from Danesfort GAA at 12 noon.
Danesfort and Kilkenny hurling stars Richie Hogan and Paul Murphy along with mascot the “Reddy Teddy” are the official race starters.
The JJ Reddy Run is now in its fifth year and following the introduction of our half marathon in 2015 the JJ REDDY DANESFORT RUN is fast becoming a fixture on the race calendar and last year’s race attracted elite athletes of the calibre of Irish Olympian Fionnuala Britton and Dublin City Marathon Irish Winner Sean Hehir.
