The JJ Reddy Run Race Director Aileen Hurley says they were keen to honor JJ Reddy’s memory as best as possible.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of the Run which takes place on Sunday 15th September, Aileen says that JJ was centrally involved to the Danesfort community.
She said “First and foremost the race honors the memory of JJ Reddy. JJ was heavily involved in the Danesfort Community and his untimely death about 8 years ago was a huge loss to obviously the Reddy family and indeed the community of Danesfort so the club is keen to honor JJ’s memory and with JJ’s brother Bart on board, the Danesfort Run was born”.
