Joseph O’Brien says it will be a good debut season as a trainer if the horses stay healthy and run consistently.

Speaking at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival launch from his stable in Piltown on Monday, Joseph is realistic about his horses prospects…..

“If some of the three-year-olds have a successful season and we have a couple of novice chasers, if some of them do well too, I suppose this time of year you want everything to win and you want everything to win Grade 1s”.

“But that doesn’t happen so if we just have a good year and keep the horses healthy and they run well consistently for the next few months, that will do us”.
