Joseph O’Brien says the ground has been suitable so far for his charge Le Richbourg who is due to line-up in next Sunday’s Grade 1 Drinmore Novice Chase in Fairyhouse.
Speaking ahead next Sunday’s action in Fairyhouse in which their are three Grade 1 races on the card, Joseph says he is hoping the ground will stay as good as possible.
“His couple of runs over fences have been very good.
“Obviously it’s been on nice ground but he seems to handle it quiet well.
“A lot of people are waiting for a bit of juice in the ground, it’s hard to believe that the ground is still good this far into the National Hunt season.
“He likes a bit of nice ground and hopefully the ground will be as good as possible for the winter,” he said.
