The June Sport Star nominees are now in.
After another busy month on the sporting front across Kilkenny, our panel of experts combined with the public nominations have drawn up June’s shortlist for the David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star Awards.
Details were announced on KCLR Breakfast on Monday morning.
June Sport Star Nominees
Up first, St. Aidan’s National School, Kilmanagh who are nominated in recognition of their recent double success with the Roinn A Schools Final and Country Cup.
They’re followed by the Kilkenny & District League Under 14 Girls soccer team who claimed the Gaynor Cup with victory over Midlands League this month.
In a first joint-nomination, brothers Keith & Shane Flavin of Paulstown Boxing Club are in the running, in recognition of their recent and continued successes in amateur boxing.
