KCLR Carlow Shield gets underway this Friday night

The new junior soccer season in Carlow is getting underway this weekend with the start of the KCLR Carlow Shield.

Junior soccer is back in Carlow and it’s all systems go this weekend for the start of the 2022 KCLR Carlow Shield.

Revamped last year and well-received in a Champions League-esque format, this year’s competition kicks off on Friday night with nine games with a second helping on Sunday and one final clash on Monday.

Friday 26 August

All games have a 7pm kickoff, first team at home.

Baltinglass Town v Crettyard United
Killeshin FC v Nurney Villa
Dolmen Celtic v Parkville United
Vale Wanderers v Hanover Harps
Ballymurphy Celtic v Mill Celtic
Bagenalstown AFC v St. Patrick’s Boys
Arddattin Ahletic FC v Slaney Rovers
Kilree Celtic v St. Joseph’s FC
New Oak Boys v St. Fiacc’s FC

Sunday 28 August

All games have an 11am kickoff, first team at home.

Ardattin Athletic FC v Ballymurphy Celtic
Bagenalstown AFC v Dolmen Celtic

Killeshin FC v Parkville United, 8pm kickoff.
