Kerry Senior Hurling manager Fintan O’Connor says that Carlow will go into Sunday’s Joe McDonagh Cup clash full of confidence after winning the National League.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s game, Fintan says Carlow are a real formidable side.
“I’d say they are full of confidence after winning the League comprehensively against Westmeath, and the worrying thing they seem very switched on and clued in.
“Even a couple of days after winning the League title, they were talking about the Joe McDonagh straight away so they are definitely not after getting carried away with their League success and they are a very good team.
“They are a real formidable team and Colm Bonnar has done a great job with them and he is a man I have great respect for so just it will be a very tough task going up there,” he said.
It promises to be a keenly contested encounter and it’s live at 2pm on KCLR’s Sunday Scoreline.
