Kilkenny’s J1’s hit the road on Saturday for another bout against Dublin opposition in the Leinster League Division 1A.

Bective Rangers are the hosts for the 4.30 pm kick-off which takes place at Energia Park.

Kilkenny will be trying to turn things around having left what looked to be a victory against Seapoint behind them after they “gassed out” in the final fifteen minutes of the game.

Carlow

County Carlow will be glad to have a home game to look forward to on Sunday after taking the long journey over to Longford last weekend.

They welcome Boyne to Oak Park in Division 1B of the Leinster League with a 2.30 pm kick-off.

Carlow knew they were for a tough game against a stubborn Longford side last time out but fought their way through it but came up short by 18-13 in the end.

Tullow

Tullow has some confidence in their ranks this week after they picked up a good win against Clondalkin last weekend in Division 1B.

William O’Brien was a welcome sight to the supporters in his first game back this season.

Tullow follows the same path as Carlow with their bus heading for Longford this weekend with kick-off also at 2.30 pm.

We cover all things Carlow, Kilkenny, and Tullow rugby on our weekly podcast called “The Knock On“.

We also cover the provinces, Irish rugby, and more, have a listen to last week’s episode below.
