Kilkenny Senior Camogie Selector Brian Dowling was delighted to get the call from Anne Downey to become involved with the backroom team.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of next Sunday’s All-Ireland Final against Galway, Brian says the girls commitment has been first class.
He said “It’s really enjoyable. Came in, it’s my first year really involved in a Camogie Team so didn’t really know what to expect, but have to say really really enjoyed the year, it’s been great, delighted when Anne gave me he phone call to come in”.
“I was absolutely delighted to get the call and the girls have been absolutely brilliant, their commitment, their effort all year, everything we have asked them do, they have done it 100%”.
