Kilkenny County Board Chairman Ned Quinn says the Kilkenny Support has become grown as the Brian Cody era has progressed.
Speaking to KCLR, Ned says that the support has been at it’s greatest even in defeat
“Well I don’t think we see it as pressure, I think we are delighted with the support the team gets from the people of Kilkenny and as the Brian Cody era has gone on, I feel that that support has grown and I think it was epitomized in 2013 when we didn’t win. I mean our team got a standing ovation leaving the field that day in Thurles after been defeated and going out of the Championship. I would say the Kilkenny support was at our strongest ever, or the team don’t see it as pressure, they are delighted with it and they are grateful for it and really grateful to our supporters who dig deep into their pockets to follow the team”
