Mia Griffin has become the first Irish female cyclist to be unveiled as a World Tour rider.
The Kilkenny native was officially confirmed as an Israel Premier Tech Roland Team member over the weekend.
Griffin’s 2023 included finishing among the medal places at the Tissot UCI Track Nations Cup.
The Glenmore woman and her teammate Alice Sharpe won bronze medals in the Women’s Elite Madison after they finished the event behind Australian duo Alexandra Manley and Chloe Moran and overall winners in Italy’s Elisa Balsamo and Chiara Consonni.
2023 promises to be another exciting year for the talented cyclist as she joins the Israel Premier Tech Roland Team’s ranks.
