Kilkenny Senior goalkeeper Eoin Murphy says it’s more than likely to be another three or four weeks till he’s able to be fully fit to return to competitive action.
The Glenmore man sustained a leg injury in a club game over the Easter weekend, and speaking ahead of this weekend’s Leinster Championship clash at home to Galway, Eoin says that even though he is progressing well with his recovery, he is not near full fitness yet.
He said “It’s just I suppose at progression stage now like where I can start adding on a bit more running and a bit more load onto it to see how it reacts, and if it’s OK I can put more on and hopefully then the next couple of weeks I can be back doing a bit of twists and bit of your hurling and stuff like that and a few drills to see how it is”.
“Just depends how it reacts to running, twisting, whatever it is yeah, so there is no set period unfortunately, I will be probably looking at another three or four weeks”.
