Former European Tour golfer Gary Murphy says that Shane Lowry spending the foreseeable on the US PGA Tour should enable him climb into the Top 25 of the World Rankings.
The Kilkenny Native spoke to KCLR and he says that Shane recent victory in Dubai has transformed his season.
He said “The big thing it’s done for him is it’s completely changed his schedule. He gets into World events, he gets into Mexico, gets into the Matchplay, gets into the Masters, he is going to play Hilton Head, he is going to play New Orleans, He is in the Players Championship, we probably won’t see him back here until the Irish Open maybe, but the way the European Tour has started his season, it’s a huge opportunity for Shane to maybe get that win on the PGA Tour.
“I know he won a World Golf Championship, but try and win a regular event and try and get back up into where I believe he should be, a top 25 player in the World” said Gary.
