Kilkenny Hockey Club Chairman Tristan Lynas says they are the club on an upward curve especially after the success of the Ladies International Team.
Speaking to KCLR, Tristan says they have plenty of interest and representatives with both the Mens and Ladies Teams within the Club.
He said “A club on the up, but particularly with the success of the Ladies International Team in both getting to the World Cup Final and now qualifying for the Olympics”.
“We have seen Ladies had been down to one team a number of years ago and really now we are up to three teams and their is plenty of girls out training and on the men’s side, we are holding firm with two teams and so there is plenty of interest and a good social scene in and around that then as well”.
