Kilkenny Intermediate Camogie Manager Aine Fahy says the girls are physically and mentally ready for the Championship which commences on Saturday evening away to Cork.
Speaking to KCLR, Aine says there is a competitive edge among the squad and plenty of places are up for grabs.
She said “Our girls are mentally ready, they are physically ready, they are training extremely hard the last couple of weeks, their is a lot of positions that girls have been like fighting for on the training field and that’s what we would want to see, there is a real competitive bite there”.
“There are 32 girls and any 32 of them could end up starting on the day, but we will just have to wait and see, but definitely the first game is going to be the toughest game and we will just have to take that game and then we will move on the following week to Dublin”.
