Kilkenny Minor manager Mike Wall says he wants the Camogie Association to commit to playing the Minor competitions this year regardless of the calendar difficulties brought on by restrictions.
Rumours have been circulating that the championship will not go ahead this year due to a lack of space in the camogie calendar.
However, the association had a backlash against the proposed calendar last weekend and now members are being polled on how it should be structured for the year.
Mike told scoreline that not saying anything about it at all is not helpful.
“I think if you look at the gaa, the gaa I think are committed to playing the U20 and Minor championships, and all we’re asking for on the camogie association is that they come out and says yes, we’re committed to it and not bury their head in the sand and not give an answer at all, because I think that is very very very unfair to the young players,” he said.
