Kilkenny Senior Camogie Manager Anne Downey admits it’s frustrating that they won’t know which way the referees are going to implement the rules with each game.
Speaking to KCLR, Anne says there is no continuity among the match officials.
She said “The problem with Camogie is every time you play, you don’t know what rules you are going to be getting”.
“I mean we went up to Galway and we had a great game against Galway, it was fairly physical, it was fairly tough, we went down to Wexford the following week and it was a different kettle of fish, it was blow blow blow”.
She added “It’s just beggars belief what is going on, so for us as a management team for the players themselves, not even Kilkenny players, it is frustrating to look at and to just make head or tail of what is going, there don’t seem to be any continuity between the referees”.
