Kilkenny Senior player Claire Phelan says their hard fought All-Ireland Semi-Final victory over Galway proves that the resilience is definitely there within the squad.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of the All-Ireland Senior Final against Cork, Claire says their tough Semi-Final clash will be an advantage ahead of next Sunday.
“In 2016 we had to go through extra-time with Galway, and that really stood to us I think and even playing Galway twice in the Championship which was two tough games which definitely stood to us.
“I think the resilience is definitely there which is a good thing coming into Cork.
“The last few minutes there we ran very close and Galway just never stopped fighting till the very end which is what you want coming up to another big game like the Cork one so hopefully we will do the same and finish it out till the end,” she said.
