Kilkenny Native Hannah Kelly says herself and Rachael enjoyed the experience of been part of the South East Provincial Hockey Squad.
The two sisters are also involved competing in field events with Kilkenny City Harriers, and speaking to KCLR, Hannah outlines how herself and her sister progressed in Hockey.
She said “We just really enjoyed this and we decided we will stay at this, this is fun and we then just kind of kept our time going with it and as we have kind of progressed, we started playing more seriously, we joined the South East Inter Provincial Team so the South East competes at Interprovincial competitions every year in September and October and we loved that.
Hannah added “I was on the South East Team for four years from Under-16s up to Under-18s and honestly that tournament is just the best weekend of the year, it’s so much fun, you are there with your team-mates, it’s great”.
