Kilkenny Storm Ice and Inline Hockey Head Coach Paul Cummins says their trip to America to play the local Police Fire Departments is a huge event for the Irish contingent.
Speaking to KCLR, Paul says the Irish get major help from the Americans and Canadians in the organization of the event.
He said “So it’s a big Irish thing. Of course it’s around the St Patrick’s week, so there will be more than just Ice Hockey games”.
“Their will be a lot of negotiations done on for help from big countries like America and Canada to help the Association here with gear and sending over coaches and stuff like that so it’s a bigger picture than just going over and playing a few games, there’s always something going on in the background”.
