Brian Cody has named his first Kilkenny team for 2019 with debuts for Tullaroan’s Tommy Walsh (not that one) and O’Loughlin Gaels’ Huw Lawlor.

St. Lachtain’s Darren Brennan gets the nod between the sticks with 2018 All-Star winner Eoin Murphy (Glenmore) on the bench for Sunday’s semi-final clash.

It’s a quick turnaround in games over the next fortnight; the winners of tomorrow face either Galway or Dublin in the final next Sunday, with the 2019 National Hurling League getting underway the following weekend.

Kevin Kelly (Ballyragget) also makes a welcome return to the side and is named at corner forward.
