Kilkenny UNDER-16 CAMOGIE manager Damien O’Donohue is confident there is a Minor All-Ireland within these Under-16 group of players.
Speaking to KCLR after yesterday’s All-Ireland Under-16 Final defeat to Galway, Damien says yesterday’s performance wasn’t a true reflection of their credentials….
“We had a great year. Unfortunately, today we just didn’t get over the last hurdle”
“I suppose we didn’t hurl the way we know we could have hurled and the way we should have hurled, but as I have said in a previous interview, they are a good bunch of girls, they do know how to win and I have no doubt, next year or the year after, when they are up to the age of Minor that there will be an All-Ireland in these girls”
