Following on from the under-14 Roinn C final between Clara and Muckalee ending in a draw, the Roinn A Final also ended in a thrilling draw as Thomastown held favourites Kilkenny City to a 4-3 to 2-9 draw in Clara at the weekend.
The under-14 season will continue for another while yet, but who is complaining with such good fare on offer.

National Blitz
Saturday saw the biggest recreational, sporting and social event of the year for Mothers and Others as the National blitz takes place at the Naomh Mearnog Club in Portmarnock. Kilkenny were represented by Piltown, Erins Own, Thomastown, Clara, Dunnamaggin and Conahy. The day started with the usual Mr. Motivator warm up for almost 1500 players, goodie bags for the players and the 2FM roadcaster broadcasting the event. Among the celebrities were RTE Personality, Marty Morrissey.
