The Irish U21 Show Jumping team which includes two local lads has won a Silver Medal at the FEI jumping European championship for young riders.
An outstanding performance has seen them claim second in Vilamoura, Portugal.
The team is made up of Kilkenny’s Jack Ryan, Carlow’s Jason Foley as well as Kayleigh Soden, Sean Monaghan, and Harry Allen.
The team, which is managed by Liam Buckley finished on a three-round total of 23.56 penalties.
Belgium won the team gold on 21.35 while the bronze medal went to Britain on 28.72.
