Bennettsbridge Senior Hurling manager Christy Walsh says what has happened earlier in the year has no relevance as to what is happening now.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of tomorrow’s clash against Dicksboro, Christy the matches been played now are a completely different competition.
“We played a few Byrne Cup matches and we had to pull out of a few Byrne Cup matches. I would imagine like everybody else, we were a bit all over the place with players away and players coming and going and players involved with County Teams and all the rest of it”
“It hasn’t been ideal but suffice to say the only comfort we have is that probably every other club is the same way”
“Three months doing nothing, what went on early on in the year has no bearing on what’s going on now, its going to be a completely different competition nearly”
“I mean what was going on three or four months ago is of no significance now”
