Joe Sheahan gave us a breakdown of everything happening in the world of greyhound racing on Saturday Scoreline earlier today.

The Limerick Greyhound Racing PRO will be commentating live from Limerick on Talking Dogs TV tonight as Round 2 of the Con and Annie Kirby Memorial takes place.

While Sheahan admitted that the highlight of Saturday’s meetings takes place at Shelbourne, he wasn’t shy in promoting the top-quality action on show in the Treaty County.

“The pick of the action is the Shelbourne 600, but the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial has a whopping €160,000 prize money sponsored by JP & Noreen McManus from 7pm on Talking Dogs TV,” said Sheahan.

He also praised the work done by everyone in the sport that have helped greyhound racing to continue during lockdown.

“I have to say that greyhound people are just great. They’re so insightful and it’s a testament to all of them that the races are going ahead.”

As always, the Limerick man provided an update on all things Kilkenny greyhound racing.

“There are a few Kilkenny dogs tonight. Peter Cronin has three runners tonight with ‘All About Ted’ leading the way for him and there are a number of others including the Kennedy’s. If you’re from Kilkenny, there is more than enough reasons to tune into tonight’s racing.”

You can catch all the action from Limerick and Shelbourne on Talking Dogs TV from 7pm tonight.
