Carlow Ladies County Board Chairperson Kathleen Mullins admits that they haven’t had a hard game since the League Semi-Final in April.
Carlow play Derry in next Sunday’s All-Ireland Ladies Junior Football Semi-Final, and speaking to KCLR, Kathleen says it was encouraging they didn’t ease off in Saturday’s landslide victory over Kilkenny.
“Well I don’t think it will be a hindrance. It was a good run out and our girls kept going. They didn’t ease off. The day against Lancashire we eased off in the 2nd half. They didn’t do that. They finished out the game and finished out the game strongly on Saturday so the game will be of benefit, but apart from the London game we haven’t had a hard game since the League Semi-Final back in April,” she said.
