Clonmore Minor Football manager John Connolly says the group of players have been knocking on the door for the past few years which has seen them rewarded with a place in Sunday’s County Minor Final.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s Minor Final showdown with Fenagh, John says there is a great atmosphere around the club and parish having not been in a County Final for so long.
“Yeah, the whole club is looking forward to it.
“It’s 24 years since we were in one last and it’s just a good feeling around the club there at the moment.
“These lads have been knocking on the door there for the last couple of years and we got a taste of success last year with a Minor B and the lads themselves were involved with success last year with a Minor B.
“They are really looking forward to it this year and hopefully we can get across the line on Sunday,” he said.
