Palatine Senior Football manager Niall Carew says they will need to play to their optimum if they are to take the Carlow Senior Football crown off Eire Og.
Speaking to KCLR after Sunday’s Semi-Final victory over Rathvilly, Niall says Eire Og are a well organized team.
“I have seen them a couple of times this year and we played against them in the Semi-Finals of the League.
“They are a very well organized team, they are good, they are not County Champions for nothing.
“We will be confident if we play well, but if we don’t play well, we won’t be walking up the steps.
“We are happy to be in it, that was the aim in the beginning so we are there now so we have to get over the line.
“Look finals can take a life of it’s own so we will just have to try and get our own stuff right first and if we do that, we won’t be far off,” he said.
