Longford Senior Football manager Padraic Davis says that Carlow are going to be difficult to defeat for any opposition who plays them.
The Midlanders make the trip to Carlow in Round 3 of the National League on Sunday.
Speaking to KCLR, Padraic says that Carlow have proven quality at their disposal “They have been going very well under Turlough getting promotion from Division 4 into Division 3 and they sit on the top of the pile at the moment and they deserve huge credit for that”.
He said “It’s a really good time for Carlow Football having been in Division 4 for so long and now to find themselves after just two games where people would have questioned whether they would have been good enough for Division 3, they found themselves on the top of that table and they deserve huge credit for that”.
“They are going to be hard beaten for anybody whether it’s in Carlow or whether they are on the road, they are a quality side with quality players in that side and it’s a huge task for us on Sunday” he said.
