Kilkenny selector Derek Lyng says the adjustment from player to selector has been enjoyable.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland Final, Derek says there is a good spirit within the whole set-up.
“There was a little bit of adjustment alright initially but I think players at this level, they are very driven, very ambitious themselves, very hardworking want to get the best of themselves. Brian, and Michael(Dempsey) have obviously been there a long time with James(McGarry) and there is a good spirit within the whole set-up and it’s a pleasure to be involved and it’s a really good couple of years to be involved. The adjustment itself has been very enjoyable to be fair”
