Marble City Boxing Club continue to punch above their weight and mix it with the best of them.
According to the club’s Noel Kehoe, they had “a fantastic weekend” in the Leinster boys championships in Newbridge Kildare.
“The city club had seven boxers reach the finals day, with all seven boxing superbly to win all seven fights and help the club win the award for the best club in Leinster with a 100% record”, Kehoe told KCLR on Monday.
“A fantastic achievement and greatly deserved for the hard work that the boxers, coaches and volunteers put in, week in week out.”
Next weekend it’s the turn of Marble City Boxing Club to host the girls Leinster Championships, with a large turnout anticipated
“[We’re] hoping to continue [the] good run of form, entering two or three girls”, said Kehoe.
