Carlow Senior Football manager Turlough O’Brien says Westmeath have a definite game plan which worked well in winning the O’Byrne Cup.
Turlough says the midlanders will be a tough to break down.
Speaking to KCLR after Carlow’s victory at home to Sligo on Sunday he said “Westmeath have been going very very well. They have been the form team I suppose through the O’Byrne Cup, winning the O’Byrne Cup so that’s a big game next week and look we are looking forward now at this stage”.
“They are a team that is very very well organised, I saw them about three our four times through the O’Byrne Cup, winning the O’Byrne Cup and they are a team with a definite game plan there and it will be battle of wills more than anything else” he said.
