It was a busy evening of Minor Football championship action in Carlow last night.
Reigning champions Palatine made a successful start to this year’s campaign with an eight point win over Burren Rngs, that one finished up 4-13 to 0-14.
Eire Og, Mt. Leinster Rngs and Fenagh also came safely through Round 1.

Mt. Leinster Rngs 2-10, St. Andrews 0-7,
Fenagh 2-8, Michael Davitts 0-11
In the ‘B’ championship, there were wins for Tinryland and St. Patricks over Naomh Eoin and O’Hanrahans respectively and the Clonmore v Kildavin-Clonegal game will be played on Wednesday evening in Woodside Hacketstown.
