Mt. Leinster Rangers manager Brendan Fennelly thinks that St. Mullins got more benefit long-term from Mt. Leinster Rangers run to the All-Ireland Club Final in 2014.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s County Senior Semi-Final, Brendan is hoping that there is more of a determination from Mt. Leinster Rangers having not won the County title the past 4 years.
“Well sure look it, you will always be hoping for a little angle when you come to a Semi-Final like that. It’s amazing you go back to Mt. Leinster Rangers performances back in 2013 and then St. Mullins came and in 2014, 2015, 2016 to win the Championships.
“Then Mt. Leinster Rangers weren’t able to come out of Carlow so I mean you would wonder did St. Mullins get more out of that Club All-Ireland Final performance than Mt. Leinster Rangers did themselves,” said Fennelly.
