Mount Leinster Rangers caused a massive upset in the Carlow Senior Football Championship last night.
They saw off a fancied Tinryland side by 3-8 to 2-7 to qualifiy for the Semi Finals next weekend.
Tinryland had defeated Palatine earlier this season while MLR got out of their group with a solitary point to their name.
Kildavin Clonegal beat Grange 1-11 to 11 points to reach the Intermediate Semi Finals, While in the Junior A Championship Naomh Eoin and Fenagh are through to the semis after wins over Old Leighlin and Leighlinbridge respectively.
Theres a double header at Netwatch Cullen Park this evening.
At 4.30 O Hanrahans play the Fighting Cocks in the Intermediate Football Quarter Finals while at 6pm Saint Andrews meet Rathvilly in a Senior Football Quarter Final.
