Molly Scott of Carlow won the u23 national 100m hurdles at the weekend in tullamore.
She is now due to travel to Sweden to represent Ireland in the European u23 Championship.
Speaking to KCLR the Carlow IT Student was delighted to build up momentum last Saturday with some personal best times.
“In the Hurdles I ran 13.71 seconds and came second in the 100 metres running 11.74 seconds, so I got two personal bests, they were only tiny but I cant complain”
Molly also admitted that she has Tokyo 2020 firmly in her mind.
“I’m not ruling out Tokyo 2020 at all, I’m going to go for it!”
