KCLR analyst Michael Walsh fancies Mooncoin to upset the odds against Glenmore in tomorrow’s Intermediate Championship Quarter-Final.
Speaking to KCLR, Michael says Mooncoin have strong momentum ahead of tomorrow’s game.
“Glenmore got an awful beating at the weekend against St. Patricks of Ballyragget. Johnstown beat them in the round before that as well so they are struggling a bit so Mooncoin had a fantastic win at the weekend, they now have two brilliant wins.
“Again, like Carrickshock they have come up from the lower grade and they really have coped very well. They struggled a bit early on, but now they seen to have got a vein of form here and while Glenmore are probably be favorites going in here, this is one that could be a surprise result here because Mooncoin are really going well at the moment,” he said.
