Ciara Quirke says it’s easy motivate yourself while heading for Croke Park.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland Intermediate Club Final against Eglish of Tyrone, Ciara is hopeful the Inter-County experience within the squad will make all the difference.
“Absolutely yeah, sure going training is easy when you are winning and it’s easy motivate yourself if you are heading for Croke Park”, says Quirke.
“It’s amazing. Something that you have to dream of, but hopefully we will do the job on the day.”
We had 11 girls on the panel (Inter-County) so hopefully that will stand to us now but you never know, it could be just like a new day so we won’t put it down to that either and we will just stay working hard anyway. We have had a few tough matches so hopefully that will stand to us now”
We’ll have full commentary of Myshall v Eglish in the AIB All-Ireland Intermediate Club Championship Final on air and online this Sunday at 1.30pm.
