Ballyhale Shamrock’s Adrian Mullen says work rate will be important in their AIB Leinster Club Championship clash with Mount Leinster Rangers.
They face the Carlow Champions at Netwatch Cullen Park on December 4th and Mullen has already outlined that he expects Rangers to be up for the test.
Speaking at the launch of the AIB GAA Club Championships and AIB Camogie Club Championships earlier this week, Mullen outlines the difficulty of winter hurling.
“You have to bring hard work to every game but more so this time of the year because every ball you get you to have to fight so hard for.
I was talking to Eoin Cody we were saying how hard it is, we can’t remember the last time we could go on a solo run. You are met by two or three bodies, any ball you get, and then the ground is slippy and slow.
It is really hard, anybody can beat anyone this time of the year.”
