Mullinavat Senior Football manager Michael Aylward says it’s hard for players to motivate themselves during the height of the holiday season.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday evening’s County Senior Final against Muckalee, Michael admits it’s difficult to have full panels.
“It (Football) has kept them fit and it is a great help like. People want games and with the weather that is in it, we might as well be able to play it.
“It is hard because there is no definite start up time with the hurling, you have to kind of wait till Kilkenny was out, and its the same with the football.
“It’s kind of run off now, there is no definite dates and you have people on holidays and it’s hard to have full panels but you have what you have and you have to get on with it and that’s it,” he said.
