Mullinavat Senior Hurler Joe Fennelly feels that it won’t be easy to improve on the progress they made last year.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s afternoon’s Senior League clash against Carrickshock, Joe says it’s going to be a big ask to push on further but feels they can take things up a notch.

“Ah sure look, every year you want to improve on the year before, but there is 12 sides there now that have enough ambitions of doing well.

“We are progressing, we are up Senior a couple of years and to try establish ourselves a Senior club first was the main aim.

“Every team has ambitions at the start of the year to do well, so we have to take every game as it comes after the long break,” he said.
