Mullinavat Senior Hurling manager Maurice Aylward says that last Saturday’s defeat against Dicksboro will prove significant should they miss out on an automatic Quarter-Final spot in the Senior Hurling Championship.
Mullinavat play St. Patricks Ballyragget in the final round of Senior League games on Saturday, and speaking to KCLR, Maurice says they will have it all to do to get back on track.
“Ah it will, it was significant. I mean we were leading on scoring difference and we had a very big scoring difference and after last Saturday, we dropped back alarmingly.
“I mean we dropped by 13 points so we have it all to play for now to try and get to back on track again next Saturday.
“We just hope that they will react in a very positive manner and learn from the defeat of last Saturday,” he said.
